• The trough from northeast Arabian sea off south Gujarat coast to northwest Bihar now runs from cyclonic circulation over south Gujarat to central Madhya Pradesh at 5.8 km above mean sea level.
• The off-shore trough at mean sea level along Maharashtra- Kerala coasts persists
FORECAST, THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR KARNATAKA FOR NEXT TWO DAYS:
• Day 1 (01.07.2024): Isolated heavy rain very likely to occur over the districts of Coastal Karnataka.
• Isolated heavy rain and sustained wind with wind speed reaching (40-50 kmph) very likely to occur over Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu, Shivamogga districts of South Interior Karnataka.
• Light to moderate rain and sustained wind with wind speed reaching (30-40 kmph) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of North Interior Karnataka.
