TUESDAY, THE 31st OCTOBER 2023/ 08th KARTIKA 1945 SAKA/Summary of observations recorded at 0830 hours IST: Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka; at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (in cm):

Mani (Dakshina Kannada dt), Tyagarthi (Shivamogga dt) 5 each; Panambur, Dharmasthala, Belthangadi (both Dakshina Kannada dt), Sakleshpura (Hassan dt) 4 each; Belagavi City 3; Sulya, Puttur, Mangaluru (all Dakshina Kannada dt), Hosadurga (Chitradurga dt), N R Pura, Sringeri, Yagati ( all Chikkamagaluru dt), Bhagamandala ( Kodagu dt) 2 each; Banavasi, Kumta ( both Uttara Kannada dt), Mangaluru Airport, Kundapur ( Udupi dt), Akkialur ( Haveri dt), Katkol, Bailhongal ( both Belagavi dt), Chikkamagaluru,Kottigehara Kadur, Jayapura, Tarikere, Koppa , Kalasa, Ajjampura (all Chikkamagaluru dt), Magadi ( Ramanagara dt), Kollegal ( Chamarajanagar dt) , Honnali ( Davangere dt), Somwarpet ( Kodagu dt) Bengaluru City, Mandagadde, Thalaguppa (both Shivamogga dt) 1each.

Karwar recorded the highest Maximum temperature of 34.0oC in the State. Bidar recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 16.4oC in the plains of the State
